·   Designed & implemented a small LAN for 30users using Cisco switches 3550, 2950 & Microsoft BackOffice servers (NT, Exchange, Proxy)

Worked as a Senior Support Resident Network Engineer to carry out SLA (Service Level Agreement)

 

Responsibilities included:

·   Configuration and Implementation of Windows NT4.0 ENTERPRISE Model and Windows NT Network Operating System

·   Adding & Managing Clients on existing NT Network.

Ø       Created user accounts and group accounts.

Ø       Developed system policies, assigned User rights, Privilege Policies and Security.

·   Controlling whole site containing at least 5000 Network Workstation terminals of spread out refinery through Helpdesk Services.

·   Controlling, Tracking & Providing Solution to the Various IT/INFRASTUCTURE Related Problems of Clients.

·   Call Management Issues depending on priorities of Network User, such as CEO, CMD, MD Chief Officers of Various Department.   

·   As a site In-charge, I was responsible for training and providing Technical guidance to other resident engineers.

·   Responsible For taking up Managerial Issues with IS Admin Officer of BPCL Ltd. on weekly basis to take critical issues if any, Presenting Complete Status report along with explanation regarding helpdesk services. 

 

Client: Countrywide Finance, Mahim, Mumbai

Worked on Migration from Novell NetWare 4.10 to Windows NT 4.0 project for this client

 

Responsibilities included:

·   Migrating on site Users from Existing Novell NetWare Servers (which is a file, print and mail server with MS Mail for PC Network 3.5) to Windows NT servers.

·   Implemented Windows NT server network as complete trusted domain model was designed with a single PDC, multiple BDCs and stand-alone servers as domain members at the site.

·   Installation & Configuration of Remote Access Service (RAS) server.

·   Established Remote Client Connectivity through RAS.

·   Configured Dial up networking at Remote clients.

·   Implementation of RAS Security.

·   Configured Remote Call Back Feature (set by caller).

·   Environment: Windows NT 4.0 Server with Master Domain model, WINS Server, DHCP Server, Remote Access Service (RAS) Server, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows 95, MS-Exchange 5.0, MS-Outlook, Routers, Hubs .
